Andrew Hara
Visual Media Specialist | Environmental Storyteller
Andrew Richard Hara is one of Hawai’i Island’s premiere ʻāina-based photographers and a visual media specialist working across photography, cinematography, design, and strategic storytelling. A graduate of ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, Andrew brings high-level technical mastery to environmental and documentary photography.
His client portfolio includes organizations such as NASA, Hawaii Tourism Authority, Discovery Channel, University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo, and sustainability-focused initiatives across Hawaiʻi.
Andrew specializes in environmental, aerial, low-light, and vérité documentation — capturing authentic moments in real learning environments. His work reflects deep cultural grounding and an ʻāina-first perspective that aligns directly with Hālau Kupukupu’s storytelling mission.
As an experienced on-island professional who understands K–12 educational environments, Andrew brings both technical excellence and the flexibility required for school-based production timelines.
Joey Trisolini
Photographer | Cinematographer | Ocean Visual Specialist
Joey Trisolini is a Hawaiʻi-based photographer and cinematographer raised in Kaʻaʻawa, Oʻahu. After training under leading fashion and advertising photographers in New York, Joey developed a polished commercial aesthetic while maintaining a strong local sensibility.
His commercial and motion clients include Hawaiian Airlines, Ford Motor Company, Shiseido, Land Rover, and Amazon.
Joey specializes in water cinematography and motion photography, operating high-end cinema systems including RED camera platforms. His expertise allows for safe, high-quality documentation in ocean environments — critical for kai-centered storytelling.
Beyond technical skill, Joey mentors youth in media practice, helping haumāna refine their visual eye while grounding storytelling in place and lived experience.
