Designing Worlds from Moʻolelo: D&D Edition
with Keawe Goodhue & Solomon Enos
What if the world’s next great RPG was hidden inside the moʻolelo our kūpuna left for us? In this 3-day design lab, you won’t just play D&D—you’ll build a Hawaiian role-playing game from scratch with Keawe Goodhue and Solomon Enos, creating characters, rules, and adventures rooted in ʻike kupuna and loina Hawaiʻi. Using ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi at any level and drawing from moʻolelo, nūpepa, and archives, you’ll play-test your system, refine it through real gameplay, and leave with a playable Hawaiian RPG framework—because our moʻolelo aren’t side quests; they’re the main campaign.
